Her singing career began with the hit “The Loco-Motion” and during the last years she released more than 10 albums and made history by having more than 20 consecutive top ten hits in the UK.The trademarks of Australias most beautiful export are sexy costumes, a changeable appearance and the ability to have sensational sold-out shows.
In 2008, the petit and graceful Australian singer visited Germany with her monumental “Kylie X 2008” tour. The German electronic retailer SATURN presented the “Kylie X 2008” tour at six sold-out shows and Kylie enthused her fans and the press likewise.
The sponsor SATURN was integrated in all official communications, on all printed materials and public relations activities (e.g. posters, flyers, roll-ups).
The sponsoring package included several sweepstakes, Meet&Greets and ticket raffles prior to the tour and integrated Kylies dedication for charity organizations.
After the announcement of her breast cancer diagnosis in 2005 it was important for the singer to integrate the German Cancer Aid into the cooperation. The organization supports research projects to improve prevention, diagnosis, therapy, after-care and self-help.
Within the engagement in the Kylie tour, SATURN donated one euro of every sold Kylie CD or DVD in to the German Cancer Aid. In Addition, SATURN gave away 150 tickets per concert to diseased children or affected family members as well as in appreciation of all doctors, nurses and therapists.
The engagement with Kylie Minogue was the first sponsoring project for the MediaSaturn Holding.
