David Garrett on Good Morning America
Major TV performance announcing the new album „Rock Symphonies“
After David Garrett's performance of “Smooth Criminal” for Good Morning America in 2009, he now presented his new album “Rock Symphonies” to the viewers of ABC's popular morning show.
On July 20, more than four million viewers followed his rousing performance of Aerosmith's “Walk this Way” and Nirvana's “Smells Like Teen Spirit“; he was accompanied by both the David Garrett Band and a chamber orchestra. In the ensuing interview with Good Morning America's anchorman George Stephanopoulos, the 29-year old star violist stressed that “Rock Symphonies” should speak to both rock and classical music fans.
