The Sonisphere festival is Europe’s first true touring rock festival, a globetrotting summer tour of supercharged rock’n’roll. With events taking place in the UK, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Sweden and Finland, Sonisphere is set to be a continent-wide celebration of energy, volume, and everything the people love about rock music.

On July 4th in 2009, the Hockenheimring – historic race track and famous open air venue – hosted this amazing Festival. With the massive line up, including Metallica, Die Toten Hosen, In Extremo, Lamb of God and Mastodon, Sonisphere enthused more than 35.000 fans.
