KATIE MELUA
She is one of the brightest stars of our time – Katie Melua. She is an exceptional talent and impresses thousands of fans by singing wonderful ballads. In many other countries the album was awarded with double platinum. “Piece By Piece” with the mega hit “Nine Million Bicycles” immediately took the number one spot in the British charts and was also awarded double platinum. With the release of her third album “Pictures” in 2007 Katie Melua was the most successful British artist worldwide when it comes to record sales. In May 2010 Katie Melua released her fourth studio album “The House”. She worked with producer William Orbit and songwriters Guy Chambers and Rick Nowles among others.
For 2011, Katie Melua announced an extensive European tour. The tour was very successful and never failed to impress her fans. Without any special effects she amazes with her spectacular voice and stunning charisma. Her new and fifth album “Secret Symphony” will be released in March of 2012. After her tour she was inspired and went to work with her mentor Mike Batt to create a really special album. It is full of complex songs accompanied by the Secret Symphony Orchestra written by the best songwriters of the world. Interpreted and enriched by her impressive voice she will amaze her fans.
