David Garrett – Live 2011
First dates of the crossover tour 2011 confirmed
Everybody wants David Garrett! Now they will get him!
His current recital tour has been sold out for months, more than 150.000 tickets are sold for his biggest “live in concert”-tour in October/November 2010, his only open air concert in Berlin on June 8th is already sold out.
Due to this overwhelming success six open air concerts are announced for the “crossover tour” in the summer of 2011. David Garrett is more than excited to come to Germany with his brand new repertoire and to once again enthuse thousands of fans.
David Garrett, his virtuoso band and big orchestra will open the summer tour with a concert in Hannover on May 18th and it doesn’t stop there. On May 20th he will play a concert in Bad Segeberg in front of a legendary setting, June 17th in Ludwigslust, June 25th in Erfurt, June 26th in Dresden and June 28th in Halle/Westfalen.
The charming violinist will present his unique combination of rock, pop and classic during his crossover tour in 2011 and therewith enchants both fans of classical and pop music. The release of his previous records approve this success: With more than 200.000 copies sold of both his crossover albums “Virtuoso” and “Encore” and 150.000 copies sold of his current album “Classic Romance”, David Garrett has made his way on top of the music charts. The partially new arranged melodies of Mendelssohn and Dvorák, tracks from the “Classic Romance” album, were ranked in the German Top Ten Single charts for weeks, at times even before pop stars like Robbie Williams or Bon Jovi – a sensational success for a classic artist!
