Nena celebrated her 50th birthday on March 24th, 2010. In compliment to Nena, the German television channel RTL arranged a big birthday party with well-known guests and many surprises.
The star of the 80s talked about her career, family and success. German celebrities like Peter Maffay, Günther Jauch and Kim Wilde were invited and narrated their experiences and memories with Nena. “She stills stands for a certain attitude towards life”, said Günther Jauch.
 
During the show Nena played an extract of her repertoire including chartbusters of her current album “Made in Germany” as well as famous song like “99 ballons”.
Nena is the leading female artist in the history of German pop music. She has earned her success by enthusing people from all walks of life with her music and her young and refreshing performances.
