David Garrett, the most exceptional classic artists of our time, received the “Goldene Kamera” for “best international music act” past Saturday.
 
The jury of HÖRZU explained the honouring with: “David Garrett successfully made his way from America and Asia to Europe and especially to Germany. With his unconventional and refreshing style David truly succeeds by giving younger people an understanding of classical music.”
 
In his acceptance speech, David Garrett thanked the jury with the words: “Music has always been my great passion since I was 4 years old. Performing on stage is the love of my life and to receive the acknowledgement with such an award is more than I could have ever imagined.”
